Andrew "Jay" Grotenhuis, 86, of Holland, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Hospice House of Holland.
Andrew was born May 10, 1927, in Holland, Michigan, to Henry and Henrietta (Boeve) Grotenhuis. During WWII, Andrew served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He married Maxine Jaarda, and his lifelong work was driving semi-tractor trailers until his retirement from Holland Motor Express. Jay was a member of the VFW Post and the American Legion.
