Albert E."Gene" Barger, 86, of Battle Creek passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at home. He was born in Dayton, Tennessee on January 9, 1927, the son of Jesse and Frances (Stewart) Barger. Albert was in the United States Army serving in World War II. He was employed for many years at the Federal Center, Michner Plating in Battle Creek for 15 years and the housekeeping department of the V.A. Medical Center. He loved going to and watching baseball games and enjoyed traveling to Florida....
