LINDSAY – Mr. Joseph Lindsay, age 94, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013.
Joe was a life long resident of Grand Rapids and was very familiar with its history and geography. He attended Catholic Central High School, and was an excellent basketball player. He also actively participated in tennis. He served in the United States Army and Army Air Corp during World War II. Joe was employed as a bartender at Silver Derby Tavern for many years.
