He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Nettie Brandel; sisters Virginia Hamilton, Clara Wescott; son Ward Brandel; grandson Brad Nauta. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 28 years Phyllis Brandel; children Nancy (Michael) Nauta, daughter-in-law Jean Brandel; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchild.
