Martje "Martha" Nauta, age 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, February 8, 2013. Martje was born October 13, 1923 in Oosterbierum, Friesland, the Netherlands to Johannes van der Brug and Trijntje van der Brug-Statema. In 1956, she and Pieter moved their family to the United States. She was preceded in death by her husband Pieter Nauta and her son, Sijtze Nauta.
